My destination wedding in Sayulita, Mexico was perfect beyond my wildest dreams. I can’t stress enough how important is to have a local planner there to help guide you — especially someone as cool and knowledgeable as Barbara Fancsik. Her and her team executed everything to perfection! On the wedding day, her and her staff were beyond lovely & accommodating to all my guests. Everyone was talking about how awesome she and the wedding was!!

Barbara and her staff provided us with a most magical day. Everything was perfect and the little extra’s Barbara snuck in were just extra special. Our guests and friends back home can’t stop raving about what a beautiful venue Barbara chose for us and how beautiful everything looked. The flowers, colours, drapings, arrival table, bar, lighting, welcome drink and table favours were over the top – all thanks to Barbara and her amazing staff. As someone said, straight out of Modern Bride…..

Barbara made our wedding day perfect!

She is a fantastic communicator and responds to email within a few hours. She also remembered small things that I mentioned during the planning stage and weaved them into the plan in a way that seemed effortless. Friends said the wedding was one of the most beautiful they attended in their lives…. it was really an incredibly planned and executed party and I, as the bride, enjoyed every minute of it! 

Can’t express how much we loved working Barbara, Liliana and Ruben. From the very beginning you receive a very kind, genuine and professional attention. We never once had a stressful moment during our planning and we can 100% dedicate this reason to Barbara and her team. They are very responsive, flexible, patient and fun. I can’t speak enough to their creativity and organization. Our wedding turned out beyond our dreams. Everyone who attended cannot stop raving about everything to us and claim it was their favorite wedding by far! Everything that was ordered came out exactly how we envisioned. Barbara even included small touches that were nice-to-have surprises that made you smile and appreciate the impeccable taste. Barbara – You became a friend forever and we already miss our regular chats and laughs – sometimes daily! I can see why you are respected and have cherish-able relationships with all your vendors and partners in this industry. Michael and I can’t thank you enough.

I wanted to thank you for an incredible experience from start to finish with our wedding. First of all your prompt responses to email really made us feel great about this long distance, working relationship. Thank you for responding to my hundred questions and emails that probably made me sound like a nervous and crazy bride. Everything we thought of,  you and your staff got back to us promptly and professionally.  It truly put our mind at ease. People would ask me if I trusted someone so far away to be making these decisions. And I would say “absolutely, without a doubt”.

When we first got engaged, people would tell me to expect something to go wrong on your wedding day and that it would be OK!.  I told myself to be calm, easy  going. I didn’t want to be a micromanaging or have false expectations. Now looking back, in my opinion the wedding day was absolutely flawless. NOTHING WENT WRONG. I could see your attention to detail and thoughtfulness everywhere. Personalized signs and menus. The children’s play area was ADORABLE. How you and your staff intuitively arranged everything in just the right way. It was like you showed up, waved your magic wand and BOOM! Everything was beautiful, flawless. You clearly have excellent taste with everything and great skill with managing your company.

I can honestly say I could not have done this without you and your team. From start to finish, you made this process infintely more enjoyable for Daniel and myself. Thank you so much for all that you did. I am sure there were things behind the scenes or fires to put out that I did not know about, so thank you for handling those too!

We would be absolutely thrilled to be able to offer a reference for you in the future.  We would have been absolutely lost without you.  You were attentive, not just on the day of the wedding, but at every moment during the planning.  Even when we dragged our feet on decisions, when we asked you a question it was answered immediately.  On the day of, everything was perfect.  Neither of us felt any of the stress and worry that people warn of.  You kept perfect track of the time and made sure the day went along smoothly and naturally.   To be able to let another nervous couple know that if they choose to have you be their planner, they will be well taken care of is seriously the least we could do for you!

Dear Barbara,

It is hard to believe that Leigh and Tina’s wedding was over three weeks ago!  We are still receiving rave reviews from our guests.  Since so many pictures were posted on Facebook, we have been able to show all our friends and colleagues who were unable to attend the wedding,  how beautiful everything was – the décor, food, table settings, and dance floor,  etc., etc., etc. Now that we no longer have to deal with all the stress of making decisions and worrying about the weather and the renovation of the Sapphire Ocean Club being completed, we can simply savor how absolutely perfect everything was.  While we all played important roles in varying aspects of planning the wedding, it would not have been possible without your incredible patience, hard work, support and creativity.  And, we would be remiss not to commend Liliana on all of her hard work.  She is a lovely person and an asset to your business.

I just loved your Mariachi band, they were absolutely marvellous!  The look on Alanna and Dan’s face said it all……What a great surprise!!!!  Your fib was brilliant!!!!

Just wondering if they have any CD’s.  I was so disappointed that I didn’t take a video of them……..I guess I was just so caught up with all the fantastic music, appy’s and drinks!!!!

I could do a rerun every day!  It was just such a wonderful wedding!  You are simply THE BEST!!

Our family and friends are still raving about the day: everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended and I have to say, we agree (completely unbiased!)! You and Julieta, and the rest of the staff were amazing during the day/evening: always attentive, the food amazing and the drinks flowed. There was not one glitch, or issue and that is mostly due to you being so organized and running a tight, efficient ship! I can’t say enough about you and your team!
